Title: Microsoft Partner & Managed Services Support Specialist

Duration: Contract / Temporary

Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid preferred)

Compensation: $35-55/hr.

Summary

The Microsoft Partner & Managed Services Support Specialist provides operational and technical support across Microsoft cloud environments, with a focus on Partner Center administration, CSP licensing operations, and Tier-1/Tier-2 support for Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID. This role supports multi-tenant managed services customers, ensures accurate handling of Microsoft support cases, and maintains strong communication with both internal teams and end users. The position also contributes to customer engagement activities, documentation, and process improvement efforts within the Microsoft services practice.

Responsibilities

Process and manage activities within Microsoft Partner Center, including customer subscriptions, licensing assignments, and CSP operations.

Open, track, and escalate Microsoft support tickets for licensing, CSP, and technical issues.

Provide Tier-1/Tier-2 support for Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and related security tools.

Coordinate escalations and resolutions directly with Microsoft support teams.

Assist with organizing and participating in Quarterly Business Review meetings for managed services customers.

Translate customer-reported issues into clear, actionable Microsoft support cases.

Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and customer interactions.

Identify opportunities to streamline support workflows and improve service delivery.

Collaborate with senior engineers and internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills

Experience using Microsoft Partner Center, including CSP licensing and support ticket management.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and managed services environments.

Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, Defender, and Intune is preferred.

Experience working in a Microsoft-focused MSP or CSP environment is preferred.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Experience with IT ticketing systems and multi-tenant support workflows.

General understanding of networking, device support, and cloud concepts.

Microsoft certifications are preferred but not required.
